How to Build a Success Mindset to Overcome All Life’s Challenges
We are all born with what we need to live a happy and successful life. You can feel very alone as you struggle with your challenges. It need not be like this. Here is how you might shape your day to find the support that is waiting for you.
Ask for help before you go to sleep
We are all connected to the spirit but we need to ask for help to receive it. Whatever your challenge is, ask a simple question for help such as;
- Give me some insight into why my boss is being difficult with me.
- Why hasn’t my lover contacted me?
- What can I do to help my child?
When you wake up you may well have some answers to your question. They often arrive as you drift between sleep and being awake. Have a notepad by your bed to quickly write them down as they are easily forgotten. In the time it takes to go from bed to the bathroom, ideas can be lost.
What are your aspirations for your day?
I am not a believer in writing a diary. When you do this the day is done and you have no ability to change it. In the morning try starting your day with some aspirational thoughts. This is not a task list but more about your hopes and desires, such as that handsome man on the train smiling at you or you get out for a walk in the park at lunchtime or your partner is pleased with the dinner you cook.
Just thinking of your aspirations will bring a smile to your face.
Let your suggestions for help arrive
In the shower is often a place where your suggestions may arrive. With that cleansing water washing over you, an inspirational thought or idea may jump into your head. This can be your own soul or spirit giving you a suggestion.
Other times inspirational thoughts arrive are when you are doing repetitive, mundane jobs such as ironing, hoovering, or cutting the grass.
Make sure you write down your inspirational thoughts so you don’t forget them.
Breath your way through your challenges and anxieties in the day
In a difficult situation, try to respond rather than react. Take three deep breaths before you reply and I can assure you the response will come from a higher place. In the time it takes to take three breaths you will connect with your higher self or soul, whichever you like to call it. With help from within, I can guarantee the response will be more thoughtful and objective giving a better outcome than an irritated or angry reaction.
Say thank you for the good things in your day
As part of your routine for getting ready for bed, write down the things that were good today and for which you are grateful. At first, it may be as simple as you are glad you got through another day. But in time other things will creep in such as the sky looked so beautiful as I went to work or as I hung out the washing. Other small things you may have missed before, you will start to notice and they will give you pleasure. It helps if you are alert and look for them. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me on the many things she offers you to make your day feel better.
With these simple practices, you can move your life from feeling chaotic and difficult to one full of guidance, help, and joy.
